I found this automated message quite dodgy, so I chose not to reply as directed. The caller's identity concerning potential fraud was rather unclear! My bank claimed it wasn't associated with them, but I've since discovered it's actually a legit outreach from Mint, thanks to a helpful thread I spotted here. I made sure to call the customer service number located discreetly on the back of the card-it's a bit easy to miss-and they confirmed that suspicious activity had indeed been flagged today, which was then verified during our chat. A huge shoutout to both the contributors here and the Mint team for their quick response, but honestly, their communication definitely requires some improvement!

I received an automated message from Mint regarding fraud protection for my credit card, which urged me to get in touch immediately. When I tried searching for the 0800 number online, I didn't find anything useful, so I decided to call the customer service number listed on my statement instead. Luckily, it turned out to be a genuine call. They informed me that they had placed a block on my account due to some unusual activity, which turned out to be my own frequent usage, nothing more to worry about!

I have a strong suspicion that this is a scam. I received a call informing me about an unauthorised charge on my credit card. They even provided me with another number for international queries, which is 4441413430199. However, neither of these numbers match the official fraud contact numbers from my credit card provider.

They rang me on a fresh SIM card that I hadn’t shared with a soul yet! Quite suspicious if you ask me!

I've just received a notification regarding a transaction on my credit card that I didn't authorise.
