I just got a message telling me I missed a payment to Welsh Water, but I don’t even live in Wales and they ain’t my water company! Pretty sure it’s a scam. Don’t click any links or ring the number they gave, it’s dodgy for sure :(

Got a text off someone claiming to be "Welsh Water" saying I owed money and to call 08000285209 to sort it out. Bit strange since I always pay by direct debit. Had a look at my online banking and saw the direct debit had actually been cancelled, even though I never asked for that. Planning to ring Welsh Water myself later today to clear things up.

I got a text from 08000285209 saying my Welsh Water bill was late and to ring that number with a reference. Thing is, we’re on Direct Debit so not sure whats going on.
