Received a call claiming to be from Halifax Mortgages. When I asked for my property details, they refused to share anything and instead wanted me to provide personal info to prove my identity. I told them to send me a letter first and then I’d answer their questions.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be with Lloyds, but after looking up the number, loads of others got calls from folks saying they were from Halifax - definitely a scam!

That horrible Halifax lot keep calling, threatening eviction! Their address is PO Box 4, Gloucester GL4 311 or something. Best to avoid them or you might end up homeless, seriously.
