They said the call was totally legit and asked me to ring 0800 015 1210 with a reference number to check. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with Lloyds. They also claimed the security questions were for my protection, but if they already had my details and so did I, what’s the point? Plus, they mentioned I’d get a text before the call to prepare me, but never got anything like that. Honestly, this screams scam to me. Smart try but definitely a dodgy call.
