I received this number from a source I believed to be trustworthy, under the premise that they could assist me with some technical glitches related to my email account, as I was having a right bother logging in. In my attempts to reset my forgotten password, I kept encountering a notification declaring ‘Invalid Password’.
I ended up permitting an individual (an Indian gentleman) to access my computer remotely.
He informed me that my machine was infested with viruses and insisted that I would need to part with at least £150 to have them eradicated.
Now I’m left wondering what damage, if any, they might have inflicted on my computer while they had control.
Honestly, I believe Yahoo ought to take action regarding this number. They may have initially seemed credible, but they are indeed quite perilous!

I stumbled across this number while searching for assistance with my BT Yahoo email, so I thought I'd give them a ring. At first, everything seemed alright. However, I’m currently having a bit of a kerfuffle trying to access my emails. They claimed my account had been compromised and insisted that my computer needed a thorough virus cleanup, all for the tidy sum of £160! Naturally, I declined their offer. I wouldn't put my faith in this number, but it certainly appeared credible when I initially called!
