This number has rang me twice within a week, each time for a different reason. The last call was from someone with an Irish accent, attempting to masquerade as O2, while the earlier call had a distinctly foreign tone. It seems they're trying to fish for information about my Mum. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

This number calls me pretty much every couple of days, sometimes a few times in one day. I used to just ignore it since I didn’t recognise it. After checking this site, I found out it’s some kind of scam. From now on, I’m gonna block them every time I get a call from this number.

I’m about to block this number. When I picked up, the guy was too distracted to notice and was swearing loudly to someone beside him. Not exactly what I expect from O2, or at least that’s who he claimed to be from!

Strangely, each time I answer with a "hello," there's nothing but silence on the other end. Only once did I actually get a voicemail, where someone claiming to be from Scottish Power requested payment for some bills to a specified account number. Quite peculiar indeed!

They claimed to be from O2 and sent me a message after I asked some questions. I told them I’d ask at the O2 store down the road, and they got really uptight with me. They even mentioned how much credit I last added and the numbers I called before. The text came from O2 UK but when I get texts from the legit O2, it shows up as O2_ on my screen.

I picked up once from this number a couple months back. The person claimed to be from O2, trying to sell me a better deal than my current pay-as-you-go. I told them I wasn’t interested and she seemed pretty annoyed. I ended the call quickly. I checked with O2 and they said the number belonged to some marketing company pushing phone deals, but they couldn’t do much about it and advised me to just ignore it and not pick up. They still call me probably three or four times a week.
