I can't seem to hang up the call (maybe it's just my phone) and the voice on the other end sounded like a woman. They asked if I was alright and said they hoped I was doing fine, but I don't recognise that number at all. It’s called me twice already and it’s really starting to annoy me. Also, I think they've been messing with my credit too.

I picked up once from this number a couple months back. The person claimed to be from O2, trying to sell me a better deal than my current pay-as-you-go. I told them I wasn’t interested and she seemed pretty annoyed. I ended the call quickly. I checked with O2 and they said the number belonged to some marketing company pushing phone deals, but they couldn’t do much about it and advised me to just ignore it and not pick up. They still call me probably three or four times a week.

Hi O2 community, I don’t really want to share my first name for safety reasons but I’ve been getting calls from this number over the last two days and I’m startin to get really annoyed. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam trying to steal my info or fraud my identity. If you see the number 08000136673 pop up, don’t pick up, just block it if possible. Today, I received a call from this number and the woman said she was calling on behalf of O2. She seemed to know quite a bit about me - like my full name, date of birth, and even the last few times I topped up my phone credit. However, she did get some details mixed up. She wasn’t aware of my 'O2 family' bolt-on, and oddly insisted that a certain number stored in my contacts was part of my 'O2 family' group. Despite some inaccuracies, I’d like to believe she was genuinely from O2 rather than just someone who’d been passed my info by the company.

I got a call back from this number, it’s a freephone from o2. When I rang it, someone said they’d missed me and were calling to see if I wanted to upgrade my tariff. They also offered a few choices afterwards.

Honestly, I’m fuming today because the shop had no lard left at all. Then, as if things weren’t bad enough, this number won’t stop calling me just as I’m trying to get Veet on my, well, nether regions. got a call from someone saying they were from 02, told me the number i was using and my name - then offered to upgrade my plan and switch me to a contract. they asked for my bank sort code to do some credit check, i told them aint giving out bank info on the phone and ended the call. number showed up as 08000136673.
