I really can’t stand those telemarketers who keep pestering you and ignore when you say you’re not interested! Honestly, there ought to be a law to stop these annoying cold calls, especially when they try to trick you into giving out your bank details. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE - if someone rings asking for your info like bank details or date of birth, don’t hand anything over. It’s nothing but harassment and a total scam as far as I’m concerned!!

Spoke to a bloke from Asia who when pressed couldn't give me my full personal info. I kept asking and the best he could do was give me my surname and address. Honestly, if you know who lives here, you should be able to answer a simple question. I told him if I google his number, it’ll probably say 'scam alert'! Folks, don’t be afraid to call these muppets out and ask for loads of your details. If they can’t provide them, they definitely don’t have your proper info like genuine companies you deal with would.

I've been receiving calls intermittently from this number, which, as it turns out, belongs to O2. They've been on at me for nearly nine months now, attempting to persuade me to switch my pay-as-you-go plan. I currently enjoy unlimited calls and texts, alongside 4GB of data, all for a mere £10 a month. They keep suggesting I downgrade to one of their monthly SIM deals that offer less for more. Strangely, despite being warned that my current bundle is about to expire on three separate occasions, it has remained intact. Was a bloke with a Northern Irish accent, really nice tone. Said he was from O2 and wanted to thank me for sticking with them. Sent me some “verification code”. He seemed to know bits about my phone usage which put me at ease. Offered a deal that sounded alright and I went for it, dumbly gave out my bank info. Later I felt a bit iffy and checked this site out. Big thanks for that. Rang my bank straight away and got my account frozen.
