Phone number ☎️ 08000128015 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance, often calling multiple times daily and outside regular hours, with many recipients registered on the Telephone Preference Service yet still receiving calls. Callers claim to represent various banks, frequently seeking personal information or referencing recent bank visits or claims, but they rarely disclose the specific bank unless identity is confirmed. Numerous users suspect scams due to evasive answers, silence on answering, or pressure to share details, prompting caution and blocking of the number. Some comments note it is linked to a market research company commissioned by banks to conduct customer service surveys; however, the aggressive approach, refusal to identify themselves upfront, and frequency of calls cause significant distress. It is advised not to share personal or banking details and to report suspicious calls to relevant authorities.

Got a call from this number just shy of 8 in the evening. The chap on the other end seemed to know my name and mentioned that I had reached out to Lloyds bank in Louth earlier this week. He was keen to find out if I’d had a natter with a member of their staff or conducted any sort of transactions at the counter. He didn’t reveal any specifics about my account, thankfully. Still, I wasn’t too pleased about being disturbed at such an hour, so I decided to end the conversation abruptly.

Received a call at precisely 5:54 PM from someone claiming to be from my bank (with a Nigerian accent). When I asked which bank, as I have several accounts, he just cut the line. It’s clearly a scam; I’d picked up a few tips on this from Holly and Phil on This Morning.

Received a call purporting to be from my bank. When I inquired about the number they called from, they became quite dodgy with their answers. I pressed them to confirm if they were from Barclays, but they remained tight-lipped. I decided to end the conversation after they mentioned it was being recorded for a voiceprint check. I'd definitely consider this suspicious behaviour.

I received a call from this number and it appeared to be from a gentleman with a Nigerian accent. Unfortunately, I found it quite difficult to comprehend what he was saying before he abruptly disconnected. As someone with a disability, it's quite a challenge for me to reach the telephone, and it’s incredibly upsetting to think it may have been a scam masquerading as a call from my bank. Wouldn’t it be great if we could get rid of such numbers entirely?

I got a surprise call on my mobile yesterday, and the chap on the other end knew my name! He had a posh British accent but introduced himself with a rather unusual name. He claimed to be calling from the bank but assured me it was nothing to fret over. Unsure, I decided to hang up and check with my bank directly, only to find out it was just a marketing firm. When I did some digging on "who called me," I stumbled across some rather disturbing comments, with people being asked for their bank details. I was under the impression that unsolicited calls were illegal if you’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service. I strongly encourage anyone to take action against this immediately!

I received a call from someone requesting to speak with the man of the house, but as he was out at the time, the caller wouldn’t divulge their identity to me, his wife. They mentioned they’d ring back at nine o'clock in the evening, but alas, they never did. How unfortunate that I couldn't catch him! It’s amusing how these things unfold, isn't it? Wishing everyone well, ta ta!

The phone buzzed around 14:49, and the person on the other end addressed me by my name. Curious, I inquired about the identity of the caller, to which she responded by saying she was from 'the bank.' Since I have accounts with a couple of different banks, I pressed her for details about which one she represented. Almost immediately, she disconnected the call without saying another word. Quite peculiar, I must say!

It’s the same old tale, isn't it? They had my digits, were aware of my full name, and had the audacity to assert they were phoning from my bank. Quite clearly, that's a load of nonsense.
I can't help but wonder who’s footing the bill for this 0800 number? Surely a legitimate provider like BT, Sky, or TalkTalk must have some insight into their identity. How on earth do these scammers manage to operate day after day, month after month without being shut down? It’s baffling!

Yet another dodgy operation with nefarious aims at play. It's high time action was taken: they ought to be caught red-handed and dragged into court, facing hefty fines that hit six figures and a proper stint behind bars. It's utterly disgraceful that individuals would stoop so low, violating our privacy in such an egregious manner. Where on earth will this madness conclude?

I had a rather peculiar phone call today from someone claiming to be from my bank. They insisted on discussing my latest visit to their branch, which I found rather odd as I've not set foot in there for quite some time. When I mentioned this, the line went dead abruptly! How strange!

This evening, I received an unexpected call from this number, which is quite curious since I’m on the ex-directory list and registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The most optimistic interpretation is that it might be a legitimate market research firm who somehow received my personal information (name, phone number, and the fact that I hold an account) from my bank without my consent. However, the less favourable scenario could imply that it’s a dodgy bunch of individuals, possibly using spoofed caller ID, who may have accessed my data through nefarious means and are now attempting to fish for even more of my personal information. Regardless of the situation, I had no intention of answering the call, as such unsolicited contacts are far from welcome. If my bank genuinely wanted to reach me, they certainly have my email on file!

I received a call this evening from this number, which is quite perplexing as I'm ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The most benign scenario is that it's a legitimate market research firm that has somehow obtained my personal information, such as my name, phone number, and the fact that I hold an account with my bank, probably through some nefarious means. On the flip side, it could also be a dodgy group of individuals whose caller ID is faked - potentially using hacked information to fish for further personal details from me. Regardless of the situation, this sort of contact is not something I appreciate, so I chose to ignore it. If 'my bank' actually wants to get in touch, they've got my email address! - Caller: unknown

Had a call on my mobile earlier today from a company called Network Research, apparently reaching out on behalf of my bank. My daughter, who's just turned 18, got a call from this number on our landline - a number I hardly share with anyone. I could hear her chatting away, so I decided to take over the conversation. The poor chap on the other end was stumbling through his replies, only managing to mutter that he was with the bank. Curious, I quizzed him on how he’d managed to get our phone number, to which he claimed the bank had handed it to him. I couldn't help but point out the contradiction, asking, "Aren't you supposed to be the bank?" He was clearly flustered and quickly said “bye” before hanging up. I received a call from this number not long ago. The caller inquired if I had contacted my bank lately. However, when I pressed them for the name of the bank, they dodged the question and then promptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Received a call around half six this evening from someone claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, inquiring about a recent transaction. I thought it was best to hang up rather than engage.

They addressed me by my actual name and claimed to be calling from my bank. When I inquired about which bank, they insisted they couldn't divulge that information until I had cleared their security checks. I firmly told them goodbye and disconnected the call. Clearly, the Telephone Preference Service isn't doing much to help.

I’m rather particular about sharing my phone number, especially since I tend to be overseas quite a bit. It’s rather frustrating to receive calls from this number, and I’m baffled as to how they managed to obtain my contact details. After reading the feedback from others, I’ll certainly be blocking this one straight away.

I've received two calls from them already. I've requested that they cease contacting me. What's more, she couldn’t even pronounce my last name correctly!

I keep receiving calls from this number, yet I choose to disregard them after having looked it up on “unknownphone” and reading the comments left behind. However, I can’t help but wonder what’s the use of us all voicing our frustrations about the harassment we’re facing from this number if nothing seems to happen with the authorities? These callers really should be penalised or face more serious consequences.

Received a call from this number earlier today. It was just a pre-recorded message stating they were doing some sort of market research and assured me that “this isn’t a sales call.” I decided to hang up.

I received a phone call from someone who requested to chat with my husband directly regarding financial investments. Strangely, he didn’t mention his name or the company he represented. He also stated he’d call back later. It all seems rather dodgy, doesn’t it?

I received a phone call from someone claiming they wanted me to participate in a survey because I had recently contacted a bank regarding a credit card. I expressed my confusion, as I'd done no such thing. It's rather alarming to ponder how easily individuals can make such calls and the sources they might be using to obtain our personal details and numbers.

I've got to say, this is an absolute con! I strongly advise against taking any notice of those so-called scam report websites where a handful of individuals claim that this operation is above board or that they're a legitimate research firm. If you look closely, you'll see that the same names keep popping up across various dodgy sites, all insisting that this number isn't involved in any shady dealings. It's pretty obvious they're just recycling the same text over and over again to perpetuate their little racket, all in an effort to swindle folks out of their hard-earned cash. I've had a few calls from them myself, and I wouldn't trust a word they say! - caller: 08000128015

This evening, I received a call from a lot of individuals claiming they were conducting a survey regarding my satisfaction with a recent conversation I had with my bank. Naturally, I enquired about which call they were referring to, and they mentioned it was linked to my credit card. To this, I replied that I hadn’t made any such call. Yet, the reality is, I did indeed contact my bank to report my missing credit card. So, I can't help but wonder how Research Network is aware that I had reached out at all?

What an absolute nuisance! I received a cold call from these chaps wanting to chat with my wife regarding a bank. However, they flat-out refused to reveal which bank it was unless they spoke to her directly. This was rather odd, especially since she could clearly hear everything on the line. They’ve got a real knack for raising suspicion and they carry an air of unprofessionalism about them. To whoever is backing them - take heed! They’re likely causing you more harm than any potential good!

I've had a slew of calls from this number, and it's becoming downright irritating-almost as bothersome as scaling Mount Everest! This is the second occasion on which I've received a call from them. They claimed they wished to speak directly to my wife. When I inquired about the subject matter, they mentioned something regarding a visit she made to the bank last week and that they needed to discuss it with her. I mentioned that I had attended the same meeting, so I could quite easily provide the information they sought. However, they insisted that they could only converse with her. After a bit of back and forth and a few pointed remarks on my part, I eventually hung up. I’ll be reaching out to the bank to clear this up.

I can assure you that this call is completely legitimate. I previously worked for Network Research, a firm hired by your bank to gather feedback on the service you received. Participation is entirely optional, and if you find the call bothersome, feel free to voice your concerns to your bank. They provided Network Research with your contact details expressly for this purpose. Just a note, they do hold back on revealing the bank’s identity until they verify that you are indeed the account holder. It’s important not to take your frustration out on the callers themselves; they aren’t particularly fond of these jobs but need to make ends meet. Many of them are students or individuals who have unfortunately faced redundancy. They often work on zero-hour contracts, facing enormous pressure to hit specific targets - failure to do so can mean fewer hours for them. If you’re looking to get in touch, the number 08000128015 is for their outbound calls, while 02076805100 can handle both inbound and outbound inquiries, making it the number to dial if you wish to reach out to them. - Caller: Network Research

The other day, I popped into my bank to set up a new account, and ever since, I've been inundated with phone calls. They claim to represent research networkco.uk, but I find it rather dubious since the number they called me from doesn’t match anything on their official site. I wouldn't recommend sharing any personal information with them, as they seem rather suspicious to me - probably up to no good!

Hello there, I must say, this number has become quite the bother, incessantly calling me at all hours throughout the day. If this is some sort of customer service survey, they ought to consider sending it through email or posting it on their online banking portal. I'd be far more inclined to offer my thoughts that way. As it stands, they’ll never hear my opinion like this because I simply refuse to pick up!

Absolutely legitimate. I’m employed at a bank, and I can confirm that all major high street banks utilise this market research firm. They’re strictly governed by data protection regulations, which prevent them from disclosing any information about their call origins until they've engaged with the account holder directly. These phone calls are instrumental in enhancing the quality of service you experience at your local branch.

Absolutely authentic, I assure you. I’m employed at a banking institution, and it’s worth noting that virtually all major banks collaborate with this market research firm. They are obligated by strict data protection regulations, which restrict them from disclosing their calling location until they have established communication with the account owner. These telephone surveys are designed to enhance the quality of service you receive at your local branch. - caller: Network Research

I just had a rather unexpected phone call, inquiring about my daughter, who thankfully wasn’t home at that moment. As soon as I mentioned she wasn't around, the caller hung up without another word! I was quite taken aback to see a number left behind, as most of these sorts of calls usually keep their digits hidden. Received a couple of calls, the first one on Friday, 1st September 2015 at 19:23, but it was a silent one. The next was on Saturday, 10th September at 11:20, where a lady asked for me by name. My wife informed her that I wasn't around, and she mentioned she would ring back later. I attempted to lodge a complaint with the TPS yesterday, filling in all the necessary information, only to be met with a barrage of Captcha prompts. After wrestling with twenty different Captcha challenges, I tried contacting their webmaster to file my complaint, but the same Captcha trouble resurfaced. It feels like they're deliberately hindering complaints in order to manipulate their figures.

I’ve been inundated with calls on my mobile from these persistent individuals - I really have no interest in engaging with them. I suspect it’s all a ploy to con people. It’s quite frustrating, especially as I have a family member who is unwell, and I’m eagerly awaiting important calls regarding their condition. I would greatly appreciate it if these calls could be halted, as I don’t need any added stress at this time. Cheers!

I recently received a call from Network Research, a company I was briefly employed with! They are engaged in market research and frequently work on behalf of several prominent banks to gather customer insights, mainly because these banks are well aware that their clientele doesn’t particularly relish being contacted. The feedback collected is then channelled back to the bank's personnel and specific locations. It’s essentially an undercover operation by the banks to keep tabs on their staff, as the queries largely pertain to the employee who assisted you-things like their friendliness, the wait duration, and their level of expertise. Network Research operates until 9 in the evening, which I find to be quite absurd for making such calls, and it was one of the reasons I decided to leave. So, if you've visited your bank for any reason, even if it was just a simple inquiry, it's likely you’ll get a call inviting you to partake in a brief survey about your thirty-second interaction. The banks have instructed us not to disclose their names until we connect with the account holder, supposedly for confidentiality reasons, which honestly frustrates quite a few individuals-a sentiment that’s entirely justified! If you express that you’re not interested in participating in the survey, we categorize that as a refusal, so ideally, you shouldn't receive any further calls after that. Additionally, if your voicemail picks up, the system automatically schedules a follow-up call. But let me assure you, the level of dissatisfaction with their jobs among the staff is truly palpable. - Caller: Network Research and Marketing LTD.
