Phone number ☎️ 08000128015 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance, often calling multiple times daily and outside regular hours, with many recipients registered on the Telephone Preference Service yet still receiving calls. Callers claim to represent various banks, frequently seeking personal information or referencing recent bank visits or claims, but they rarely disclose the specific bank unless identity is confirmed. Numerous users suspect scams due to evasive answers, silence on answering, or pressure to share details, prompting caution and blocking of the number. Some comments note it is linked to a market research company commissioned by banks to conduct customer service surveys; however, the aggressive approach, refusal to identify themselves upfront, and frequency of calls cause significant distress. It is advised not to share personal or banking details and to report suspicious calls to relevant authorities.

This number keeps ringing me but I just don’t pick up. I’ve already signed up with the TPS so it’s kinda annoying.

I got a call this evening around 8:10, a woman was asking to speak to me or my daughter, which was odd since she hasn’t actually lived with me for like 35 years. I asked what it was about and she said she was from Lloyds Bank, asking if I’d had any claim refused recently. Then it clicked - I do have my daughter listed on my home insurance to manage things if I’m not able to. She kept asking if there was a claim I made that got turned down. I told her that just yesterday I claimed for an emergency plumbing leak, but got told that dripping taps aren’t covered if the water isn’t contained properly. She then said she can’t continue because the claim was still being processed. It’s clear someone’s got access to my policy info since she even knew my daughter’s name and asked for us specifically.

Got a ring from this number right before 8pm. The bloke on the phone already knew my name and said I’d visited Lloyds Bank in Louth earlier this week. He asked if I’d actually spoken to anyone there or done anything at the counter. Didn’t give him any of my own account info though. Wasn’t too happy about getting a call that late in the evening, so I just ended the call.

Got a call around 5:54 pm from someone claiming to be from my bank (felt like a Nigerian scam). When I asked which bank since I have a couple, the line just went dead. Pretty clear it was a scam - caught onto these things thanks to watching Holly and Phil on This Morning.

Received a call purporting to be from my bank. When I inquired about the number they called from, they became quite dodgy with their answers. I pressed them to confirm if they were from Barclays, but they remained tight-lipped. I decided to end the conversation after they mentioned it was being recorded for a voiceprint check. I'd definitely consider this suspicious behaviour.

I got a call from this number, a bloke with a heavy accent, sounded like he might be from Nigeria. I couldn’t make out what he was saying before he just cut me off. Being disabled, it’s a struggle to even pick up the phone sometimes, so it’s really upsetting to find out this is just some sort of scam pretending to be the bank. Why isn’t this number blocked or taken out of service? It’s just not right.

For months now, I've been getting calls from this number like six times daily. Luckily, my caller ID helps me just block it out without picking up.

Yesterday I got a call on my phone from a bloke using my name. He had a British accent but gave a name that didn’t sound local and claimed he was calling from my bank. He said there was no problem, but I ended the call and rang my bank myself. They told me it was actually from some marketing agency.
Checked out this number on 'Who Called Me' and some of the comments really worried me, mentioning they ask for bank details. I thought if you're registered with TPS, these sort of cold calls were banned. Seriously, this needs to be sorted out quickly.

Phoned wanting to speak to the bloke of the house but he was out. She wouldn’t say who she was and said she’d call back around 9pm but never did. Only got to chat with the fella, shame I missed the guy. Oh well, love these kinds of calls. Cheers, take care everyone!

At around 2.50 pm the phone went, and the woman on the other end wanted to speak to me by name. Curious, I asked who it was, and she said she was ringing from my ‘bank’. Since I have accounts with a couple of banks, I asked her exactly which one she meant. After that, she just hung up without saying anything else. Really odd behaviour.

Same old thing, they already had my digits and even used my first name, pretending they were from my bank. Totally not true, obviously. Wonder who's covering the costs for that 0800 number - some legit company, maybe BT, Sky, or TalkTalk? No clue who they actually are. How do these scammers keep going for even a day, let alone months on end?

This lot is just another dodgy group up to no good. They should be caught ASAP and dragged through the courts, slapped with a massive fine and locked up. It’s a total invasion of privacy that normal people get caught up in this rubbish. Honestly, how much more of this are we supposed to put up with?

I got a phone call from this number tonight, even though I'm on the TPS and my number is unlisted. Maybe it’s a legit survey company who somehow got hold of my data - name, phone number, and account info - probably leaked by my bank without permission. On the other hand, it could be some dodgy scammers faking the caller ID, having hacked my info and now trying to gather more details. Either way, I decided not to pick up because I’m not interested in calls like this. If the bank really wants to reach me, they can just drop me an email!

I got a ring from this number tonight, even tho I’m ex-directory and signed up with the TPS. Hopefully it’s just a legit market research firm who somehow got hold of my info (name, phone, plus the fact I’m a customer) maybe from a bank leaking it. But then again, the worst case is it’s some dodgy lot spoofing the caller ID, having hacked my details, trying to fishing for more personal stuff. Either way, I’m not interested so I ignored the call. If it’s really my bank wanting to reach me, they’ve got my email - no need for calls from unknown numbers!

I saw the missed call came from a freephone number, so I decided to ring back. The line answered with a recorded message saying it was for Market Research, gave a website - www.marketresearch.com - and asked if I wanted to get involved. Not really my thing, so I just hung up.

My daughter, who's 18, got a call on our landline, which I never share with anyone. I heard her answering some questions, so I grabbed the phone and started throwing questions back at the caller. The guy was stammering and clearly flustered, kept saying he was from the bank. When I asked how he got the number, he said the bank gave it to him. I pointed out, "I thought you WERE the bank?" Then he quickly mumbled goodbye and hung up. Glad I was around to step in!

I really don’t fancy getting calls from 0448000731776. They’re quite annoying to be honest.

I’m pretty careful about where I give my phone number since I’m not around most of the time being abroad. So it’s really annoying to get calls from this number. No clue how they managed to get hold of it. After reading what others said, I’m definitely blocking it now.

Called me a couple of times already, told them to quit ringing me. Plus, the lady couldn't even pronounce my last name properly.

No one should be allowed to bother folks like that, it’s just not on.

Got repeated calls from these lot, had to tell them to take my number off their list. Proper nuisance it was!

Yesterday they rang me twice, then again this morning, and just got another call right now. Honestly, it’s starting to really annoy me.

This number keeps ringing me all the time but I just don’t bother answering now, coz I looked it up on "unknownphone" and loads of others have said it’s the same annoying stuff. Still, what’s the point of all these complaints if no one in charge actually steps in? They really should be hit with a fine or something tougher for pestering us like this.

Just got back from work and noticed loads of missed calls from this number on my phone.

Received a call from this number earlier today. It was just a pre-recorded message stating they were doing some sort of market research and assured me that “this isn’t a sales call.” I decided to hang up.

This guy called looking for my husband by name, talking about some financial investment stuff but never told me who he was or which company he’s with. He said he’d call again, but honestly, seemed a bit dodgy to me!

Someone rang me up claiming I was chosen for a survey since I supposedly contacted a bank recently about a credit card. I told them I had no idea where they got that from because I never made any such call. It’s quite unsettling that folks can do this kinda thing without getting caught. Makes me wonder where they find these phone numbers and details in the first place?

Absolute liars, told them to jog on!

Honestly, this is a total rip-off. Don't bother trusting those scam report pages where some folks claim it’s a proper company or some kind of research firm. You’ll spot the same names popping up on all these sites, always defending this number and saying it’s not a fraud. Looks like they just copy and paste the same replies everywhere to trick people and get hold of their bank info. I got calls from them a couple of times myself. - caller: 08000128015

I keep getting calls about some bank survey, its getting really annoying and feels like harrassment. Someone needs to put an end to this!

Can someone tell me who this is? It’s getting quite irritating now.

I got a call from them this evening claiming they were doing a satisfaction survey about a recent phone call I supposedly had with my bank. I told them I hadn't made any calls, but they insisted it was about my credit card. Thing is, I actually did ring up the bank recently to report my credit card lost. So how on earth does Research Network know I made that call? Feels a bit suspicious to me.

What a nuisance! Got a call from someone wanting to chat with my partner about a bank, but wouldn’t say which one unless they got her on the line (even though she said she could hear the call loud and clear). They’re experts at making you feel suspicious and come off as really unprofessional. To whoever’s behind this, seriously, you’re harming your own reputation more than helping!

This number has rung me repeatedly lately, pretty much like a bloody mountain of calls! Luckily, I can see who's calling and just ignore it, but it’s still a pain to keep rushing over to check the screen every single time.

They've called me twice now. First time, they asked to talk to my missus, said it was about something at the bank last week. I told them I was actually at that meeting too, so they could ask me if needed, but they kept insisting on speaking to her. I told them again, but they just repeated they needed to talk to her. After a bit of back and forth, I told them I'd be ringing the bank to sort it out.

A while back I talked to my bank about these kinds of calls. I made it very clear that I wasn’t interested in any telephone surveys and asked them to stop ringing me altogether. Obviously, they didn’t bother to listen because I’m still getting these annoying calls.

Lately, i've been getting calls from this number quite often, sometimes even after 8 in the evening. I've tried picking up recently, but whenever I do, they just cut off the call. It's pretty annoying since they ring at all sorts of times.

Over the past four days, I've got three calls from this number. Took one call today and they asked if they could talk to me by my name. I told them it’s me, but then suddenly they said they couldn’t hear anything and just ended the call! Strange behaviour.

I actually used to work at Network Research, so I can explain this properly. They get hired by your bank to ring up customers and gather feedback on how the service was. You don’t have to answer or take part if you’re not in the mood. If you’re annoyed by the call, it’s best to complain to your bank directly because they’re the ones who gave Network Research your phone number. For privacy, they won’t say which bank it is until you confirm you’re the account holder. Just try not to get mad at the caller, they’re just doing their job. Most are young students or folks who’ve lost their jobs, on zero-hour contracts, under loads of pressure to hit targets or risk getting fewer shifts. The number 08000128015 is just their outbound call centre line, while 02076805100 works both ways if you want to reach them. So yeah, if you want to raise anything, ring that number rather than shouting at the caller.

A few days ago I went into my bank to set up a new account, and since then I’ve been getting calls nonstop. They say they’re from researchnetwork.co.uk, but the number they ring from doesn’t match the one listed on their site at all. I’m pretty sure they’re not legit. Whatever you do, don’t share any personal info with them - they seem like total scammers.

Hey, This number keeps calling me at all sorts of random times throughout the day, and it's honestly getting quite annoying. If it's supposed to be some kind of Customer Service survey, why not just send it by email or upload it through internet banking? I’d be way more likely to respond that way. But ringing me like this? No chance I’ll pick up to give them any answers!

Absolutely legit. I’m actually employed at a bank, and pretty much every major high street bank hires this market research firm. They have to stick to strict data protection rules, so they can’t disclose where they’re calling from until they’re talking to the actual account holder. These surveys are designed to make the banking experience better for you in your local branch.

I just got a call like that, someone asking for my daughter. Luckily, she wasn’t at home when the call came. When I said she wasn’t available, the person ended the call really quickly. It was a surprise to actually see a number to call back - pretty unusual because normally these calls don’t want to give their number. Someone rang up, asking for me by my name. My husband picked up and they said they wanted to talk about a complaint I’d made to my bank - which is nonsense because I reckon mine’s the finest around! How do they even know my house number when it’s supposed to be unlisted? Totally baffling!

Called twice, first on Friday 9th Jan 2015 at 7:23pm - just silence on the line. Then again the next day, Saturday 10th Jan 2015 around 11:20am, a lady rang asking for me by name. My wife answered and said I wasn’t home, and the lady said she’d try calling again later. I attempted to lodge a complaint with TPS yesterday, filled out all the info but then got stuck trying to complete the Captcha. After about 20 different Captchas, I still couldn’t get through. Tried contacting their webmaster to report the issue and hit the same Captcha problem again. Feels like they’re deliberately making it hard to complain just to keep the stats low.

I keep getting calls on my mobile from these people and I really don’t want to answer. I’m pretty sure it’s some sort of scam. Could someone please put a stop to it? I’ve got a poorly relative and need to be free for important calls about them, so these nuisance calls are really unwelcome. Thanks a lot.
