Got a call from someone claiming to be a new payee, they sent me a sketchy link. Don’t click it, just block the number and move on.

Got a text supposedly from TSB saying some guy called Mr Ktwine was added to my account. They told me to tap a link if I didn't add him. I looked up the number here and it’s definitely a scam.

Got an email from same scammer here. Seriously, dont click any links or ring them back, they just want your bank info to nick your cash. Im not a Halifax customer so it was obvious straight away. But if you bank with Halifax just delete it, it’s definitely a scam.

Total phishing scam, mate. Someone said they're from Halifax and told me a new payee called Mr K Twine was added to my account. They even dropped a dodgy link to "confirm" if I didn’t authorise it. Problem is, I don’t even have a Halifax account. Plus, the banks I use never include links in these sorts of messages. Stay sharp, folks!

Got a text saying I’d arrange a new payee, and if not, to press the link shown. So dodgy. Just hover over that link and it’s clear it’s not from TSB at all.

Got a text from 07983826669 at 2.19 in the morning saying someone added a new contact to my TSB account. Weird thing is, I don't even use TSB as my bank. Definitely don’t tap on that link.

This was so obviously a phishing scam. They said they were from Halifax and told me I'd added some new payee called Mr K Twine to my account. Then they included a dodgy link to click if I hadn’t done it. Thing is, I don't even have a Halifax account. Plus, the banks I’m with never send links in messages about new payees. Definitely something to watch out for!

Got a dodgy text from 07983826669 pretending to be TSB saying some bloke named Mr K Twine was added to my account. I do have an account with them so I nearly fell for it. The message came through at like 2 in the morning and it actually woke me up! Don’t click any links if you get something like that, definitely a scam.
