They called me saying they were from HMRC, offering some sort of tax refund. Sounded dodgy right from the start. Definitely a scam trying to get your info. Watch out for these fake HMRC calls!

Someone called claiming to be from Lloyds, said they needed to set up a new payee.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Lloyds Bank, told me a new payee was set up on my account. Sounded dodgy to me since I hadn’t authorised anything like that. Didn’t give them any details and hung up straight away. Be careful, could be a scam!

Got a text sayin I could get some sort of tax rebate, but then it asked me to log into an online form to claim it. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call about a tax rebate from some place called UK Rebate Claims or something like that. Sounded a bit dodgy to me, so I didn’t give them any details. Anyone else had this? Feels off, like a scamtry. Keep an eye out!

Got a message saying my bank account was set up with Lloyd’s debit card but when I rang my bank it turned out to be a scam, no such thing was set up at all so watch out!
