Total scam alert. We had only just switched to EE the day before and then got this call. The link they sent wouldn’t open on my phone at all, which seems super sketchy for any telco. Definitely dodgy behaviour.

You wouldn’t believe how these con artists have it made. When I called them out for targeting older and vulnerable folks, they got really smug. One bloke said something like, “While you lot are having your plain meals, we’ll soon be chilling on a Miami beach, knocking back cocktails and munching on Lobster Thermidor in no time.” They bragged about cashing in big during the cost of living crisis, saying they’re rolling in millions while everyone else struggles with less pay. Absolutely disgusting. 🤬

Got a text saying there was a problem processing a payment with EE and asking for my bank details to stop my account from being impacted. The funny thing is, I don’t even use EE!

Got a text about an unpaid EE account, but since I’m not even with EE, I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.

Just got a call from EE saying they couldn’t process my payment. Honestly, not shocking since I’m not even an EE customer. Definitely a dodgy scam, so I’m flagging it as risky.
