I got a message from this number sayin NHS Test and Trace found me as a contact to someone with Omicron and told me to order a home test kit here: https://pcr-home-test.com. I went ahead and ordered the kit using my debit card, and now there’s dodgy transactions happening on my card 😡😔. Definitely a scam, so watch out!

I got a message similar to what others have mentioned, from “NHS Test and Trace” saying I’d been near someone who tested positive for Omicron. But the number didn’t match the official one that had been messaging me when my family was ill with it before, so I reckon it’s a scam. Plus, the link they sent wasn’t from a gov.uk or NHS website at all. Don’t click it if you see something like that!

I clicked it on my iPhone, thinking it’s safe coz supposedly iPhones don’t get viruses. I really hope that’s true. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Legit NHS Test and Trace messages always have the official NHS logo, but this one was missing it. Pretty sure it’s a scam.
