I received a peculiar message at 05:29 this morning, claiming that I had been in touch with someone who tested positive for Omicron. It urged me to arrange a PCR test and included some sort of attachment at the end. I've just conducted a Lateral Flow Test, and thankfully, it came back negative. I didn’t bother to open the attachment; after some digging, I'm convinced it’s a scam. So, I simply dismissed it and moved on with my day.

I got a dodgy message from +44 7935 710839 in the wee hours: "You've been in close contact with someone who's tested positive for Omicron. Please get yourself a rapid lateral flow test kit: ..." I didn't do a thing about it after what’s been mentioned before. Cheers! (I’ve blocked the number).

I got a message from this number saying I’d apparently been near someone with omicron and gave me a link to book a test. It’s rubbish though, I hardly go out and don’t meet anyone. Don’t get caught out by it, if you want a test just pop into your local chemist, no need to click on dodgy links or book online through weird numbers.
