Nationwide have confirmed this was a scam. These fraudsters copied a card and tried to purchase Bitcoin, pizza, and stuff on eBay, but luckily all the transactions got blocked by Nationwide.

I got tricked into sharing my bank info for a supposed small delivery fee for a PCR test at home. Hey, I’m with the NHS down here in East Kent and just wanted to clear up that this number and message isn’t genuine. Real track and trace texts usually come from nhssms and the links will be official NHS or .gov websites. If the link looks dodgy or isn’t from those domains, best to steer clear of clicking it. If you’re still a bit worried, ring 119 between 7am and 11pm to check if it’s legit. And please don’t hand out any personal info unless you’re totally sure it’s safe. Stay well, everyone!
