It seemed like a spam call, so I didn’t pick up. Since they didn’t leave any message and after seeing what others said, I just blocked the number.

I’ve been inundated with unwelcome calls pestering me about stock market investments. The callers have all been rather insolent and full of themselves.

Got a call from this Indian bloke called Mathew, pushing me to trade through his brokerage. When I asked for his FCA licence number, he suddenly got really nasty, calling me an idiot for doubting him. Honestly, I don’t mind wasting half an hour of his time if it stops him targeting someone who might actually fall for it...

Got a call from a bloke calling himself John, claimed he was from London. He seemed really pushy and knew my first name, trying to drag me into some scheme with gold and oil. Felt like he was just barking out lines from a script. I hardly got a chance to speak, and when I did, he just shouted back insults. He kept talking about dealing in euros here in the UK, but I pointed out we use pounds. Honestly, seemed super dodgy and very likely a total scam.
