BEWARE OF ENERGY SCAMS! If you get any dodgy calls or messages, make sure you report them straight to the police fraud centre. Just search for ‘action fraud’ and head to the ‘police.uk’ website. From there, find the ‘report phishing attempt’ section and read all the info carefully. Then fill out the form with all the details, including any links or website info. You don’t have to sign up or share personal info unless you’ve actually lost cash from the scam. The only way for the police to track these crooks is if we all report every suspicious call or text we get.

I just got a ring from 07868788987. When I answered, a woman said something like “you’ll find out what it’s like when it’s your turn,” which really unsettled me. I was still a bit shaken up when she started chatting about Energy saving services. I told her off because that message sounded like a threat, which was totally not on. She claimed she was actually speaking to someone else in her office, not me. If that’s true, it’s hardly very professional at all. Really nasty way to get a call like that.
