Got a call saying my card was charged £900 without my okay. They wanted my bank info to send it back.

Got a call from someone searching for a couple that used to have my old landline number. I told them that number isn’t theirs now. The lady on the phone seemed to have an Indian or Pakistani accent. She then asked if I could assist her, but I just said no and asked her to remove the number from their records. Feels like they might be scammers targeting the elderly folks who had the line before me. I ended the call there.

This lady calling from an Asian accent was quite pushy when she asked for my personal details. I refused to share anything, and she got quite rude, so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Thought it might be one of those telemarketers, so I didn't bother picking up and have now gone ahead and blocked the number.
