He continued, quite courteously, to probe for details about 'myself.' I had to let him know that he didn’t really require any personal information from me, as I wasn't interested in what he was proposing. I made it clear I intended to hang up. It seemed like a bit of a fishing venture, yet he remained quite amicable throughout the conversation. I did manage to glean one straightforward fact - the firm he represents operates out of the Philippines!
