They said they were from the dept of justice but it’s totally not true. I just got a text saying they tried to ring me, but I never actually got a call. I’m employed by the dept of justice myself and I can tell you for sure we don’t do stuff like this.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the local council asking about my thoughts on how they handled covid. If it was genuine, they wouldn’t be using a private mobile, plus they said they’d already tried calling me when they hadn’t even sent a text. Also, every time my council runs a survey, it’s always on paper, never by phone. Definitely a scam, do not share any info!

I got a call from this number “0203468946” and my phone actually flagged it as a scam. Then another call came through from someone saying it was Barnet Council asking for feedback on their services. They told me to press 1 to call them back, 2 to call later, and 3 if I wanted more info. Honestly, it felt pretty dodgy and like a scam to me.

I received a rather dubious call from this number, accompanied by a text that stated: "The Mayor is keen to know your thoughts on policing in London." The interviewer rang me from 020 3740 6920. I’d suggest picking up if they try again or texting back with '3' for further details.

Seems like it’s likely just a scam to me. I find it strange that it's from a mobile and lacks any legitimate sign-off.
