So, this number showed up claiming to be from MBNA, but I knew straight away it was some sort of scam. I’m no mug, so I’ve just gone ahead and blocked it.

Received a message from this number earlier today. It claimed to be from my credit card provider (they actually mentioned the last four digits of my card) and said that I hadn’t used my card for some time (which is true) and invited me to participate in a survey via text by simply replying with a YES to kick things off. Of course, I’ve promptly deleted it!

Got a message from this number with the last 4 digits of my MBNA Visa, saying they wanted me to join a survey. It also said something about network charges being applied. Obviously, I didn't reply or get involved - seems like just another scam trying to make cash from sending texts.

Just ignored it and deleted the message straight away.
