This number was totally new to me, looks like a mobile one. Weird thing is, my boyfriend got a call from the same number at the exact same time as me, which seems pretty dodgy if you ask me. I've seen some chat about Premier Inn here, but I’ve never booked anything with them, so there’s no way they’d have my details.

i got a text from premier inn to check my booking and if i needed help with directions or wanted to book a table for dinner. they always do this for my stays so it’s definitely a legit message.

I just found a booking made under my name at Premier Inn for tomorrow, but I never made it. Tried ringing their contact number 0333 003 0025 to sort it out, but couldn’t get anyone on the line - just ended up stuck listening to endless music and adverts. I also sent them a DM on Twitter but haven’t heard back. If this keeps happening, I’m seriously considering blocking them.

Just wanted to update from my previous comment - Premier Inn finally got back to me on Twitter DMs. They said, “Hi xxx, really sorry you got that text about the booking. It seems like your number was added by mistake. I’ve looked over the booking and nothing else matches your info, so no worries. I’ve now taken your number off the reservation, so you won’t get any more messages about it. Thanks for telling us!” I think that’s a fair and proper reply.

Got a message that said it was from Premier Inn about a booking I'd never made. It told me to text back INFO if I wanted details on the hotel and meals. I just ignored it and didn't reply.

Today I got a text from this number and thought it was odd, so I called Premier Inn just to check. Turns out it is legit, but the message came through because someone had swapped digits in their phone number by mistake. So that’s why we got the text from them.

I got something similar but with another booking reference number. I asked them for some details and after a while, they got back to me. They said the Premier Inn I was meant to stay at was connected to a Beefeater where I could reserve a table. The way they replied didn’t look like how Premier Inn usually does. I’ve now blocked the number.
