I received a rather curious message regarding a delivery for my carphone. It provided a time frame of 11:01 to 12:01, which is rather puzzling as I haven’t placed any orders recently. The text included a link to the DPD website along with the name of the driver, Ross. I thought I’d share this, in case it’s of any use to anyone!

I too have received messages from this number regarding a delivery from DPD for an item that I'm completely unaware of, and certainly never purchased. The time frame given for delivery - 14.38 to 15.38 - was absurdly precise (perhaps next time throw in a couple of seconds, eh DPD?). What really sends shivers down my spine is that when I called the number, I was greeted with an automated message saying 'not recognised'. I’ve reported this to DPD, and while I await an official response, I can’t help but suspect this is more of a blunder than a grand scheme. A little note for DPD: it might be time to tidy up your delivery notifications!

I can confirm that this number truly belongs to DPD. Earlier, I received a text stating an hour window for a delivery I was anticipating today. It's possible that they might have received an incorrect contact number that happens to be yours!

In the past day, I've received three messages from DPD about a parcel I wasn't anticipating from Amazon. 1. They've informed me that my parcel is en route, with options to reply via text. 2. Next, they mentioned that the delivery would occur at a certain time, once again offering those text reply options. 3. Finally, I got a notification stating that my parcel has been placed at the front porch. The issue? I have no parcel at all, and we certainly don’t have a front porch! Furthermore, I’ve not ordered anything from Amazon. It seems like it might be a simple case of mistaken identity with the phone number, considering the website looks legitimate. Alternatively, could this be an intricate scam in the making? Who knows...
