I got a message saying my carphone delivery would arrive between 11:01 and 12:01, but the odd thing is I never ordered anything before that text popped up. The message had a link to the dpd site and even mentioned the driver’s name, Ross. Maybe this info helps someone else?

I got a message from this number claiming a parcel was out for delivery by DPD, but I’d never ordered anything from them. The delivery window given was ridiculously exact - like 14:38 to 15:38 - maybe next time they’ll include the seconds too! I tried calling the number back but only got an automated reply saying the number isn’t valid. I’ve reported it to DPD and am waiting to hear back, but honestly, it feels more like a mistake than anything malicious. Seriously DPD, you really need to sort out how you send your delivery texts!

I just got a message from this number, and yesterday I had one from 07860010016, only off by one digit. The text says something like 'My Warehouse delivery scheduled for today' with a time window of 10:08 to 11:08 and even gave a DPD reference number, but when I checked on the DPD site there was nothing matching that ref at all. Seems fishy to me.

Just got a message saying my order from Anovo is on its way with a DPD driver called Allan, and I can text back to choose delivery options. Problem is, I never actually placed any order with them. Bit strange!

Over the past day, I got 3 messages from dpd about a parcel supposedly from amazon.
First one said the parcel was on its way and offered reply text choices.
Then came a message confirming the delivery time, again with options to respond by text.
Finally, they claimed the parcel was left on the front porch.
But here’s the thing - we don’t have a front porch and I never ordered anything off amazon. Could be that someone’s dialed the wrong number, since the site looked pretty legit, or maybe it’s some kind of well-planned scam...?
