Then he just started telling me to “f##k off” like three times in a row before slamming the phone down after I had a laugh at him!

Got a call from some American automated voice about an unauthorised charge on my card from Walmart (yeah right, we only have Asda over here). I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Honestly, these scammers are absolute scumbags, especially since this could really freak out older people. Utter muppets.

So, this guy, sounded Asian, rang me up saying he was with Virgin Media's security team. He told me my internet was at risk and said I had to download some app called 'quicksupport' that gives you a personal ID. I can't believe I actually nearly went through with it! But I didn’t press the ‘done’ button, which really seemed to annoy him. Then he started getting all rude and aggressive. I quickly deleted the app and gave him a proper telling off. Honestly, these scammers really need to be put a stop to.
