Just got a call from 07858579685 claiming they were from Sky and asking to access my computer. Don't fall for this, it's definitely a scam! I rang Sky myself and they confirmed it wasn’t genuine. Best to report it to the police straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Virgin, saying there was a problem with my router. I told him straight away that I’m not with Virgin at all. He kept insisting that there was an issue with my router though. I asked him again which company he was with, and he said Virgin again. I told him I’m definitely not a Virgin customer and asked why he was even calling me. Then, without saying much else, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin Media, telling me there was an issue with my router. They asked about the lights on the device, but when I said I wasn't home at the moment (or maybe they heard me searching the number online), they just ended the call straight away. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam to me.

I had a call the other day where they asked which bank I used and what my washing machine brand was. If you tell them the truth, you might just get yourself into a load of trouble or even sound like a genuine customer. I just fed them made-up details straight away - that’s the only way to be sure they’re scammers.

My landline got a recorded call saying my internet router had some issues and was from "BT on behalf of my broadband company." Shortly after, this guy with an Indian accent rang, claimed he worked for BT, and asked me to switch on my computer. He then wanted remote access and pushed me to move quickly. Even though it felt dodgy from the start, I went along with it a bit. Luckily, I never shared any bank details and ended up blocking the number.

Just got a call from this number about 10 minutes back but didn’t pick up. Pretty pleased I didn’t, so it’s now on my blocked list.

As soon as I answered, they ended the call suddenly. I attempted to ring them back, but the number was showed as invalid. Feels a bit dodgy to me. Wouldn't recommend trusting this one.
