They called me twice claiming to be from Sky, but never asked for any passwords, just told me there was an issue with my router. When I called them out on it being a scam, the guy got really irritated and ended the call. The cheeky bloke had the nerve to ring me again a couple of hours later! I just ignored it and blocked the number straight away.

I've been getting calls from this number a lot, always right after I've just finished chatting with my internet provider. They say there's a fault with my router. I told them it was nonsense and ended the call. It definitely seems like a call centre from India. It's strange how they even know which broadband company I use, and probably lots of others too?

I got a call like this too, and since I’m with Sky they told me it was a Sky tech issue. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky, saying there were issues with my router. When I asked a few questions and called him out for being a scammer, he started shouting abuse in Hindi. Things got pretty chaotic after that! Still, it was a nice little distraction from work to mess with him a bit.

Today around 9:35 am, I got a call claiming to be from Virgin Media’s tech team. They said my Virgin router was throwing up error messages and my system was getting corrupted, offering to fix the problem. But the moment I told them I wasn’t home and that I’d ring Virgin myself later, the call just dropped!
