Was on the phone with someone who sounded like he was in a noisy workspace, trying to get me to enter a draw for an iPhone - I just ended the call right away.

Had one of those dodgy RTA scam calls pretending to be from my insurance about an accident. They wanted my bank details and stuff - total red flag! Seriously, don’t fall for it and just hang up!

Somebody rang up pretending to be from the NHS, wanting to know if anyone at home had caught COVID and if I was using the app. They asked me to verify my address, but they only had an old postcode of mine from ages ago.

This definitely smells like a scammer trying to pinch your bank info. It’s pretty cheeky how they hide behind mobile numbers, making it tough to spot. For those of us who have trouble sleeping like me, it’s quite amusing to ring them back at 2:30 in the morning. Honestly, the funniest part is that they end up moaning about getting unwanted calls themselves!

This guy called me telling me he could combine all my debts into a single low payment. When I joked about doing that but a bit harsher, he just abruptly ended the call. Sounded like he had an Indian accent or something.

This guy with an Indian accent said he's from some "UK money advice" place and claimed I was on some list of folks with debts. When I asked where he got my details from, he just went on about how they could combine all my supposed debts into a single payment with zero interest. I told him the only thing I owe is my mortgage, which I'm up to date with, and he shut off the call right away. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

This number, 07857 404143, just rang me. The man on the line, speaking with an African accent, introduced himself as David from the CAB. He claimed I owed £26,000 and told me that one lump sum payment would clear everything. I asked where he was calling from, and he said Manchester. When I pressed for a postcode, he gave M12 6JH. I checked it on Google Maps and it turned out to be the uber-Greenlight Hub, which seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from the credit department. I asked him which credit dept exactly, and he said Citizens Advice Bureau. He told me I could settle all my debts at once. I said I don’t have any debts. Then he asked if I had life insurance and who it was with, so he could update his files. I just hung up after that.

Got a ring from this number earlier, bloke said he was from Citizens Advice and claimed I owed some debts. He gave his name as Kevin Jones or something. Told him to jog on and called him a right scammer before hanging up and blocking the number. Total waste of time.

Just got a call from a number with loads of background noise, sounded like the person had an Indian or Middle Eastern accent, but no clue who they were trying to reach. I told them I was busy and ended the call. This one’s going straight onto my blocked contacts along with all the other dodgy calls. Not sure how to tag this number, better to be careful though.

Got a second call today, but this one actually talked. The guy claimed he was from some call blocking company, said he’d be sorting out my calls and stopping all those telemarketers. Sounds like they were trying to update my call blocking settings or something.
