Got a call from what sounded like an Asian crime ring. They’re apparently using the money they get to carry out illegal stuff and, worse, they mess with white kids. Stay clear and don’t answer!

Got a call from a guy with quite a thick Indian accent, says his name’s Mark and that he’s from the NHS. He asked if I’d got the test and trace app on my phone (I told him no) and then if anyone at home had been feeling ill or had symptoms (also no). Then he suddenly switched to asking about life insurance. When I asked why the NHS would need that info, he gave some vague answer about it “maybe helping me out” or something like that. I said my husband handles all our insurance stuff and he decided to just say thanks and hung up. Definitely sounded like some sort of scam to me.

Just got a call about some unpaid debts. I asked why they were ringing me from a mobile number if it was serious. Then, they just hung up on me.

SCAM ALERT - Someone rang claiming to be from the NHS about COVID-19 and started firing off loads of personal health questions. Then they weirdly switched to asking if I’d got life insurance and said they could help me claim money if I passed away. I tried asking them stuff back instead of answering, and they just ended the call. Better not pick up these calls at all.

I got a call saying it was from Credit Search Control, but they didn’t even get my name right, so I just blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from what sounded like a call centre, but the person was really hard to hear. She claimed to be from the NHS, saying they were updating info about the coronavirus. They asked if I had any symptoms, but when I kept asking where exactly they were calling from and said I wasn’t sure it was genuine, they just ended the call.

Watch out for this number! I just got a call from a woman who said she was from the National Health Service, called herself Sophia, and asked if I had any Covid symptoms. When I questioned how she got my phone number and asked for some kind of NHS reference number, she just hung up on me. It’s worrying to think our personal info might be getting leaked like this.

Got a call earlier from some bloke claiming to be from Citizen Advice, saying there was a case against me. I asked for details about the case, and then he started asking if I had life insurance. I told him straight up he wasn't from Citizen Advice and then he just ended the call.

So apparently it’s the NHS calling, asking about your insurance provider because insurance firms aren’t covering deaths from Covid. If you mention your insurer’s name, they apparently ring you back to sort out payment for Covid coverage.

I told him we didn’t have any, and then he just said alright and hung up. I reckon he noticed I wasn't convinced. Felt a bit fishy to me.
