Got a call from someone claiming to be from the National Insurance department. Sounded dodgy to me, definitely a scam. Stay alert!

I got a voicemail saying my NI number was locked because of some crime and that a case worker would contact me soon. Bit worrying!

Got this text from UK-GOV claiming they’ve sent out a payment of £365.97 to everyone as part of some promised scheme. It had a link to click on to ‘apply’ or something. Very dodgy if you ask me, best to ignore and mark it as suspicious.

I've received a couple of missed calls from this number-once on the 14th and again on the 16th. Strangely enough, there were no voicemails left. It’s got the feel of a dodgy number, if you ask me! I've been doing a bit of digging on other sites, and it appears that this sort of nonsense has been happening since the 13th. So, I’ve now decided to BLOCK this number on my phone. Couldn't make out a thing she was saying, had such an intense foreign accent, not British at all. When I asked her to spell the company’s name, she just kept saying the same words over again. Decided to block the number.

Terrible call, a bloke with a really thick Indian accent was on the line. He kept asking for someone who used this phone about three years back, a colleague of mine. I explained she no longer works here and asked why he was calling, but he insisted on speaking to her. I told him that’s not possible since this isn’t her number anymore. After that, he just hung up. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a credit company helping folks in debt, saying they were backed by government rules. Later on, the same person said they were following advice from Citizens Advice. I wouldn’t trust them! When I said that if they truly followed government guidelines, they’d know I’m not giving out any financial details to some random caller, they just told me to go to hell. Quite the cheek!

Got a call from an Asian guy using this number, said he was from the NHS asking about COVID symptoms in my house and family. Then he asked if I have health insurance, which I told him I don’t. Also asked if I use the COVID app. After checking my postcode, he just ended the call. Bit odd, if you ask me!

Got a call from some woman asking about COVID symptoms, but clearly rang the wrong number - I'm an ICU nurse! When she switched to pitching insurance, I just told her to get lost. Total scammer nonsense.

Got a call from a lady with a foreign accent saying I owed money on unsecured credit card loans. I kept asking where exactly she was calling from and she claimed to be from some government agency dealing with those loans. I hung up straight away and checked the number online, which led me here. Definitely dodgy stuff - be careful!

Been getting calls from people claiming they are from insurance companies and asking about covid symptoms. Has anyone else reported this? I’m wondering if hackers might’ve got hold of some info since they keep asking if I’ve had a covid test or not. Feels a bit off to me.

Today, I received a call from 07857 402760 and the person on the line actually knew my name! He claimed to be calling from Citizens Advice Bureau regarding some debts I supposedly had. When I asked him to prove he was really from Citizens Advice, he said he was. I then told him I don’t have any debts and he just ended the call.

I just got a call from 07857402760. The bloke’s English was pretty rough, and he said he was from Parking Eye. He told me I owed £500 for some unpaid parking fines and threatened more trouble if I didn’t pay right away. When I asked where exactly these fines were from, he just cut me off and hung up. On top of that, my wife got a call from the same number earlier. It was an Indian woman saying she was from the NHS, asking loads of personal stuff. The moment my wife mentioned she herself works for the NHS, the woman quickly ended the call. These scammers really need to be stopped.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from UK Debt Advice. He knew my name and started asking if I owed any money or had letters from the Citizens Advice Bureau. I told him I didn't have any debts, so I asked what exactly he was talking about and where these debts were from. Next thing, he just hung up. Straight to the blocked list with him.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from the NHS and she already knew my name. She started asking if I had covid symptoms and if I'd recently had any prescriptions from either the NHS or private doctors. I wasn’t sure who she really was, so I just told her I didn’t want to continue and hung up. It sounded dodgy to me right from the start.

I was just about to go into self-isolation for Covid when I got a call from someone with an overseas accent. At first, they told me I'd got the wrong number, but then they mentioned my partner's name! They quickly said sorry and hung up. Got a call from a woman speaking with an Indian accent, and in the background, I could hear what sounded like a call centre. She started asking if I had symptoms like a headache or dry cough related to COVID-19. Since I'm still waiting on my test results, I told her I'd just put any symptoms into my app for now. Then, out of nowhere, she just hung up on me!

I haven't picked up calls from 07587402760, but every day around the same time my phone rings from 0758734563 and 624567 too, so I reckon they must be linked. I'm just blocking all three now. Also, I got a text supposedly from the DVLA which was obviously a scam.

Some bloke rang me from 07857 402760 and spoke with a thick accent, saying he was from Citizens Advice. He mentioned my "debts" supposedly showing up on their system. When I told him I wasn’t in any debt, he suddenly changed tack and asked if my life insurance was current, especially with everything going on with Covid. I said yes, then he wanted to know who my provider was. As soon as I asked for his details, he just hung up and I blocked the number straight away.

They keep ringing me up over and over using loads of different numbers, plus some calls come from hidden IDs. I can't make out what they're saying at all since they speak in a language I don’t get.

So I got a call from a woman representing some charity, asking if I’d like to make a donation. Turns out, the chat was actually quite pleasant! Normally I get tonnes of scam calls, so it was a relief this one was genuine. I’m glad I said yes.
