Got a dodgy text saying I need to verify a payment from HSBC for £215 to Amazon on 22/07/2024, with a weird reference number 105621. It told me to text back 'Y' if I authorised it, or call 0330 133 1895 if not. Sounds like a total scam to me, so I just ignored it and blocked the number straight away. The message came from +44 7856 408047. Proper con artists trying to phishing my details.

I just got a phone call from a number I didn't recognise, asking me to ring back 03301331895 about some suspicious charges on my Amazon UK account. Seems like it could be a scam to me.
