Got a call from some Indian guy claiming he was from CAB and said I could clear my debts. Problem is, I don't owe anything. Glad I looked up the number first, saw it was dodgy, and just ended the call without sharing any details.

Some bloke rang from CAB, pretty slick cos I’d been chatting to them not long ago. He said coz of some government rule, I might get 70% of my debt wiped off. I said alright, then he asked if my debt was above £7,000 or so. I told him I didn’t wanna talk about that on the phone and asked for an email instead, and he just hung up on me.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming I’d won a prize draw and a computer or something. He mentioned something like UK Lifestyle, but his accent was so strong I could barely catch what he was saying. He kept pushing me to confirm my address, but when I said I wasn’t happy giving that info on the phone, he just ended the call. Definitely seemed dodgy to me! Would steer clear.

Picked up the phone and a woman with a thick Asian accent called me by my first name, saying she was from the CAB about some debts I supposedly owe. I told her I don’t owe anything and never contacted the CAB. She quickly said sorry and that it must be a mix-up. Pretty clear she was trying to rope me in. Nice try though, not falling for it 🙄

Got a call from someone saying they were from the citizens advice bureau, then started talking about random debts I supposedly owed. I said I’m only 14 and suddenly he shouted “F### off” and just ended the call! Haha, btw I’m not really 14 ????????

Some lady from India called me and already knew my name. When I asked her to prove she was from the CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU like she claimed, she just dropped the call! Pretty clear she was shady from the start. Legit Citizens Advice don’t harass people like that, no way.

When I pressed for the full name, he said he didn't know, so I asked why he didn’t even know who he was working for. He started getting a bit defensive and annoyed. Then I asked for a subject access request which totally confused him. He hadn’t a clue what that meant, so I explained I had the right to see all data they hold on me and how it's used. After that, he just hung up.

At first I just let it ring out without saying a word and then ended the call. They rang back, picked up and asked for my name. After I gave it, I asked what this was about and he said why had I ended the call earlier. I told him I couldn’t hear anyone so I thought it was a wrong number and hung up.
