I’m really puzzled how they found out we sent something back to EE. I just quickly skimmed the site, saw “linked to EE” and said a few yes/no answers without thinking. I got a message and then another one from Royal Mail about a parcel supposedly coming from BT. I rang up BT customer support and they told me it was actually from some BT AI system and wasn’t meant to be sent. Later, a small parcel turned up with a couple of cables for connecting digital voice phones, but since I hadn’t ordered it, customer services cancelled it straight away. Just to be clear, this isn’t a scam at all.

Got a couple of texts supposedly from Plusnet saying they want feedback about my broadband. One said they'd send a brief survey and to text STOP if I didn't want it. The other asked how likely I'd be to recommend Plusnet to mates or family, scoring from 0 to 10. Funny thing is, they sent the exact same pair of messages to me back in April 2024, which I just ignored then too. Don't think I'll bother replying now either.

Not sure if this is some sort of scam but after reading all these comments, it does seem a bit fishy. I got a couple of texts from BT saying they wanted me to answer a short survey about a call I supposedly made to them earlier. Problem is, I never actually called BT, so I just ignored the messages and blocked the number straight away.

Got a text from EE earlier, looked like a survey about their Sports TV service I’m signed up to. Wasn't really up for replying so I just turned my phone off. When I turned it back on, the original EE message disappeared but now there’s a draft message from this number in my inbox. Haven't dared open it yet, especially after seeing what others have said about this number on here.

Roughly twenty minutes after a phone call I'd made to BT customer service to report a fault, I got a text from this number asking me to rate the service out of ten. I had to wait nearly ten minutes before they transferred me to EE’s helpline - since BT and EE merged recently - and the number that showed up was different to the one I dialled. I mentioned I wasn’t too sure if the person I was speaking to was legit, but he offered to send my bill in the post and managed to sort the issue I’d reported within an hour. The message asking for feedback came through about ten minutes after that.

Got a message from [insert company name] recently. I just blocked the number and reported it straight away. Don’t bother replying with “STOP” - instead, you can send the SMS to 7726, which is SPAM, so your network can sort it out quicker.

They called pretending to be from Plusnet, using the exact same lines as others mentioned. Nearly fell for it since we recently had some work done by Plusnet! How did they even find out about that? Proper glad I looked this up before answering. Blocked them straightaway and deleted the message.

Got a text earlier today that looked pretty legit, saying it was from British Telecom about a customer feedback survey. I didn’t respond or text back STOP to unsubscribe. When I looked up BT’s official numbers, this one wasn’t there. So I came here to see what others say, and yep, this number popped up. It felt dodgy since it mentioned a "recent experience" I never had in the first place. Glad this site’s here to help. These scammy creeps really need to be cracked down on.

Got a text saying it was from BT, mentioning I’d chatted with one of their advisors at 10:57 earlier that day. They asked for feedback and said they’d send three questions soon. They also said if I wanted to stop getting texts, I should reply with STOP. A question arrived but I just ignored it, it was Christmas Eve around 11 in the morning. Cheers to whoever rang me!

Got a message from this number early today (17th May) at about 8:11am claiming to be BT. They said they’d send me a little survey about my internet and told me to text back ‘STOP’ if I didn’t want it. Something felt really dodgy about it, so I just ignored the text, blocked the number and reported it straight away. Honestly, if you get any unexpected texts or calls like this, best to be super careful and not trust them.

Got two messages from "Plusnet" one after the other asking for feedback. I thought it was dodgy so didn’t reply. After looking at other reviews and noticing the number’s linked to BT and Plusnet, I’m convinced my instinct was spot on - these are likely scam texts. My advice? Don’t reply to any feedback requests. Just delete and block this number straight away.
