Another one of those bogus texts like the rest? How come these freeloaders get to use unregulated numbers? I bet most of them never held a proper job or paid any tax, yet they keep bothering us with no consequences even when caught!

Unfortunately I replied to that text on my phone, now I’m waiting to see how much it’ll cost. Sounds like a scam to me. I typed STOP and got another message saying they won’t send me any more texts. I’m blocking the number now.

I sent a message back at first before i figured out it was a dodgy mobile number pretending to be BT. Do you think they'll charge me for that?

Got a text from this number +447800004211, never seen it before!!! TOTALLY PHISHING!!! I looked it up like normal and reported it here since others said it’s dodgy, I DIDN'T REPLY, just blocked and deleted it :) No way it's BT!!!!!!!

Got a message asking me to fill out a survey after getting an earlier text from BT (60 157) about an 'order' I never made. This came right after an unexpected email from Plusnet about their new mobile plans. Either way, I’ve no interest in anything to do with BT, this feels like a proper invasion of privacy. I’m ignoring them and have blocked that number already!

It might be spam so just ignore or delete it. You can also block these numbers to stop future texts. Me: Can you confirm if the text was from BT or Openreach? Got a text today asking the same survey questions about an order I supposedly made. Looked it up online and found loads of people saying the same thing. Just blocked the number and deleted the message.

Today, 29/9/2016 at about 3.23pm, I got a text from +447800004211. They said they were from BT and wanted me to do a survey about a recent contact I supposedly had. Thing is, I don’t know anything about that.

I got in touch with BT about that number and, just as I thought, loads of people have reported it. They said they’d never send messages like that. Their advice was to block the number and then delete the message straight away. Don’t bother with the survey, you’ll end up with huge text charges. It’s a bit like those charity texts, but there’s no limit on what you end up donating. Just giving you a heads up!

On 27/05/2016 at about 3.19pm, I got a text from this number: 0780 000 4211 saying: "Hi, BT here. We’re sending you five questions about your last contact. Please reply with your answers (standard text charges apply). Or reply STOP to unsubscribe. - Q1. How easy was the whole experience? Rate from 1 to 5, 5 being very easy and 1 very hard." Straight away I knew this was dodgy. So I looked up the number on this site and found out 0780 000 4211 was marked as DANGEROUS.

bt survey, after tweeking bt mobile settings. got 5 texts charged at normal rate, felt dodgy, surely bt would send an email or a proper survey, not some that eats into your call allowance.

Got a random text on me phone claiming to be from BT, asking me to do a survey after some "recent contact". I dont see how BT would have my mobile, reckon its a phishing trick. Just left it and deleted it.
