I've had quite the experience with a certain debt collection firm that seems to acquire old debts for mere scraps of their original value. They then have the audacity to hound you for the entire sum as if it's a matter of life and death. Best bet? Give them the silent treatment! They rang me at the most ungodly hours - I mean, really, who calls at half past three in the morning? If you can block their number, do it without hesitation. Or better yet, consider a change of number altogether. Just steer clear of any interactions with these nuisances!

Every now and then, a bloke named CHRIS sends me messages out of the blue, urging me to ring him back with some reference number that I haven’t the foggiest notion about. It’s puzzling, to say the least. I usually ignore him and see no reason to return the call, especially since he sometimes uses an 0800 number. That's why I've come here to look things up.
