I reckon this number is what apple uses to activate iMessage and FaceTime when you put your sim in. It sends a text just once each time you switch sims. If you don’t want to get charged, you can always disable iMessage. It’s only a single message sent after every sim change, nothing ongoing.

I keep getting texts that I didn’t send at all. Also, my balance keeps dropping by Rs 5 every now and then. Don’t really understand what’s going on, and when I contacted customer support, they couldn’t figure out the issue either. Apple, please sort out this glitch!

Just google “Turn off iMessage” then enter your phone number. Follow the steps to unregister iMessage from your device. Simple!

Like some others, Ive been getting charged 0.2€ every time I text this number +447786205094 from my iPhone 5 running iOS 10.3.3 for months now. From what people are saying here, it looks linked to using FaceTime or iMessage, but I cant find any way to block it either on my phone or through the network provider. This is the first time I've gotten a verification code from this number, and the strangest thing was my phone filled in the code on its own before I even got the message! Does that mean someone’s hacked into my phone???!! Apple really needs to sort this out!!

Got a message today from some company I’ve never heard of or dealt with before. Pretty sure it’s a scam trying to trick me, maybe someone’s trying to use my card or something... but I still have my wallet with all my cards, so I reckon they just want me to click on that dodgy link. Not falling for it, obviously. The text was in Norwegian and said something like: Apple Store: Good news! Your shipment 8878404307 has been sent and will arrive by 28/11/2017. Ricevo spesso messaggi da un numero che mi prosciuga il conto con addebiti di 0,49 centesimi senza che io autorizzi niente. Non è solo quello, c’è pure il 447537410 e temo che ne spunteranno altri. Succede tutto quando FaceTime sembra attivo, anche se io l’ho disattivato mille volte, ma si riaccende da sola. È una fregatura bella e buona, spero che Apple prenda finalmente posizione su questa roba.

I got this strange text message today with some weird code inside it.

It looked something like:

No idea what it means, just felt odd to get something like this out of nowhere.

Hi,
This number somehow managed to take money from my account while my FaceTime and iMessage were active. So, I’ve had to disable them both. I’m not going to use FaceTime or iMessage until this issue is fully sorted.
I can’t keep forwarding or topping up my phone like this, it’s just not proper. Please get this fixed as soon as possible, I want it stopped for good.

Got hit by an SMS scam. It shows up on your phone bill as random charges. I got billed three times a month for the past three months! Proper annoying. They charge about €2.50 for each fake SMS they send.
