Got a message from someone claiming to sell stuff on GUMTREE. I said I’d buy, then they quickly sent a paid invoice asking me to confirm by putting in all my card info. They kept pushing me to hurry up, saying they wanted to get some sleep. Something felt off, so I looked into it and found out it was a con artist called ELIZABETH BUNKS, supposedly from TOWN HALL LEEDS. Clever trick, but don’t fall for it. I’ve reported it to GUMTREE already.
