Early this morning at 4:51, I got a text saying I’d been close to someone with the Omicron Variant and that I needed to order a test kit straight away via https://urgent-test-kit.com. When I tried to open the site, it wouldn’t load and then Trend Micro popped up warning me that the page could damage my computer. I found this site after I looked up the number the text came from and it definitely seems like a SCAM. Luckily, I didn’t end up putting any of my card information on their dodgy site.

Got a text today, 11th Feb 2022 around 9.28pm from 07759129410 saying NHS: You’ve been close to someone with the OMICRON strain. They wanted me to order a test kit via https://urgent - test - kit.com but then asked for money to send it! Reported it to Police Scotland who confirmed it’s a scam, loads of different numbers being used for this kind of thing. Watch out and don’t fall for it!
