I received a call from a chap named Mike, who was supposedly representing Amazon. He was inquiring if I wanted to authorise a transaction for an iPhone I had supposedly just bought. I played along for a bit while I looked up my Amazon account-of course, there was no sign of any such purchase. Eventually, he got fed up and hung up on me.
