I received a rather dodgy phone call earlier while attempting to get onto my computer. The person on the other end was a scammer, posing as if they were from Amazon. They requested that I download the Anydesk application, which instantly raised my suspicions.

The caller claimed they were from Amazon and then just hung up on me.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Mike, sounded like they were from Amazon but with an Asian accent. He told me they'd spotted an iPhone order on my account and asked me to put ANYDESK on my phone so he could sort it out from his end. The moment I refused, they just hung up straight away.
