I received a message claiming to be from Amazon, stating that someone had attempted to purchase an iPhone and that I needed to input a code they’d sent me via SMS. However, when I checked my Amazon account, there was no trace of any iPhone order whatsoever.

I received a call earlier claiming to be from Amazon, stating that my card had been used to purchase an Apple iPod. They went on to mention a subsequent order worth £500 had been arranged! I told them I would verify my account, but they incessantly tried to keep me engaged on the line. Today, they had the audacity to ring me back, which I promptly ignored. I recognised it as a scam straight away, especially since I’ve also been receiving dodgy emails about this.
