This was definitely a scam. The NHS wouldn’t specify a variant like “Omicron” in their messages, they'd just say “Coronavirus” or something similar. Plus, the link they sent doesn’t even work now, and it didn’t start with anything like “nhs.org/” which made me a bit suspicious. Just be careful and watch out for dodgy texts like this. I think it was one of those NHS Covid scams, says I’m a close contact. The website it directed me to, nothing on that page actually works. You put in all the info it wants and then they go asking for your card details. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
