In a moment of weakness, I decided to call back, but all I got was their voicemail. Honestly, these absolute muppets should be banned from having any sort of phone! I mean, they seem to have access to all sorts of personal information, like accounts and addresses... It's downright concerning!

Don't fall for this, it’s a total scam! They say you’ve been near someone with omicron but it’s definitely not from NHS Test and Trace. The number calling is a UK mobile one, whereas NHS Test and Trace normally ring from 0300 013 5000. Since Thursday 24th Feb 2022, NHS Test and Trace stopped using text messages like this. If you tap on the link in their message, it asks for your personal info and looks like an NHS page, but it ain’t legit. If you look carefully, you’ll spot spelling errors and the web address isn't a proper NHS site at all. Stay safe and don’t give them anything!
