I had to report this number to both the TPS and ICO. The ICO mentioned that annoying marketing calls, be it to mobiles or landlines, plus spam messages, can really cause a lot of trouble and distress for people. They said they do fine companies to try and stop this nonsense. Apparently, they’ve slapped fines totaling about £220,000 on firms that don’t follow TPS guidelines, which is meant to show they won’t stand for it.
