Got a call from someone claiming to be with Debt Solutions about a loan I supposedly applied for. I've never even heard of this company and definitely never took out any loan. Straight away I blocked the number!

Got a call from 07704961227 saying I owed money and was from Citizens Advice. I asked a few questions but the guy got really rude and just ended the call. His accent was pretty thick too, couldn’t make out much.

He tried to ask if he could speak to me, but when I asked where he was calling from, he just hung up. I've also noticed loads of silent calls from numbers like that. Definitely a scam, I reckon.

Got a call from some bloke with an accent, claiming I owed money. I told him I don't have any debts, and then he just hung up on me! Needless to say, he's now blocked.

Some bloke said he was Fred West, a war veteran from the SAS, and asked me to cover his water bill. I stupidly gave him my bank details to help out, and that wanker ended up nicking £2874.23 from my account. Proper mugged off. Not impressed at all. 😤😡

Got a call from someone saying they were from the Credit Investigation Bureau, telling me I was late on payments and only had a day to fix it. They said they’d wipe off 60% of this debt for free, but couldn’t give me any real details about where the debt came from, just said it was about £10,000. As soon as I ended the call, they rang back straight away and started trying to scare me more. They also insisted they were overseen by the Financial Conduct Authority, which seemed fishy to me.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying something about a debt I needed to pay. When I asked him which debt he was on about, he just ended the call straight away. Pretty clear that it was a scam.

Got a call from someone called Mike claiming to be from Citizens Advice. When I asked him what he wanted to advise me on, he just went quiet and then hung up. I've blocked the number since then.

Some bloke rang me on my personal phone and was really cheeky from the start. When I asked him his name and what company he was with, he just wouldn’t say. Then he started going on about some unpaid debt, which I definitely don’t owe. I told him to buzz off and not to waste my time, but he yelled back saying it’s the law that I have to listen to him. Well, I just ended the call right there.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was calling about some debt I supposedly owe. I told him straight up I don’t owe anything, and he just snapped at me, saying "why you lying!" then ended the call. Best not to pick up if this number rings you!

Some lady rang me saying she was from Citizens Advice and that I supposedly had some debt that could be cleared without any cost thanks to a government scheme. I told her straight up I don’t owe anyone a thing! She just said “oh, bye” and then cut the call. Her English was awful and sounded like she was from abroad.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent asking if I was Jones and claiming I owed some money. When I said that didn’t sound right, I just told him to piss off.

Got a call from a woman who was pretty pushy, demanding I tell her my full name. When I asked her who she was, she got annoyed and, in really poor English, said I wasn’t "getting what she was saying at first." I told her I was a bit tied up right then and she just hung up. Quite rude, honestly.

I got called by a really unpleasant bloke who was hard to follow and kept shouting about debts I supposedly owed. When I questioned where he was calling from and how he had my details, he got even nastier. He told me to listen carefully and asked if I understood, which was pretty intimidating. After wasting time going around in circles, he eventually just cut the call. I've blocked the number now.

Got a random call from a number I didn’t recognise. I picked up and just left the phone down without saying a word. The person on the other end hung up straight away, and there was this noise that made it clear it was one of those call centre things, obviously pretending to be a mobile.

Got a call about some kind of debt write-off, mentioning either a government agency or a private firm dealing with IVAs. They kept talking about creditors wanting their cash back but wouldn’t share any names, claiming it was GDPR related. Then they warned me bailiffs would be sent round to repossess things if I didn’t arrange something. When I said I wanted it all in writing before giving more details, they just cut me off. Honestly, don’t know what to make of it!
