Got a call the other day from Credit Investigation Bureau, and it was like the same person ringing me about 4 or 5 times. They never said the name Steve though, they kept introducing themselves as Dave. Quite annoying!

Got a call from an Asian guy saying he was from some financial services firm wanting to talk about credit cards. When I questioned him, he got really rude and started swearing at me.

This person rang me three times today, so I answered and told him he was from FAC. When I told him to stop trying to scam folks, he got really rude and said I'd regret it. I don’t owe anything at all, and when I asked what debt he was talking about, he just kept avoiding the question, mentioning loans and stuff I’ve never had. Be careful, he gets quite hostile and nasty.

Got a call on my mobile twice early on Saturday, picked up the second time and it was this Asian bloke going on about credit stuff, so I just told him off with a load of swears and ended the call.

Just got a call from this bloke on my work phone and honestly, it freaked me out and I felt proper awkward. He claimed he’d got some sort of update on me from the FCA!!! I kept asking where he’d got my info from and he kept saying it was from the FCA update, so I just ended the call. Absolutely fuming!

Got a call from this bloke, said his name was "Steve" and claimed he was from some Credit Investigation Bureau or something. Sounded like an Indian or Pakistani accent. I just ended up whistling right into the phone and then blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from an asian guy claiming he was a manager at citizen advice. I ended the call straight away and figured if I tried ringing back it wouldn’t go through - and it didn’t. This is already the second time in two days!
