I received a rather rude call from someone looking for a Tracey. I informed him that he had the wrong number and didn't know anyone by that name. His response was completely unnecessary - he shouted something obnoxious at me, calling me derogatory names before abruptly ending the call. What a delightful way to be jolted awake on my day off!

I’m utterly fed up with these pestering scammers who seem determined to interrupt my day, harping on about PPI, accident compensation, solar energy offers, and even our so-called pensions department calling regarding some universal credit loan I supposedly owe! Don’t even get me started on those so-called tech support calls from Microsoft, claiming my laptop is riddled with viruses and in dire need of some kind of cleaning and updating. Little do they know, my laptop is fortified with top-notch security software!

Got a call from this number, the bloke started talking about credit cards, I told him I don't own any and then he switched his story. I told him I'd looked up the number online and had seen all the reviews, then he hung up. He called back but used a different name this time! Definitely block this one!

This number rang me and the person claimed to be from Citizens Advice, saying my number was chosen from 28,000 people. They said they were here to help with my debts and credits. When I asked where they got my details from and if I could report them to the police, they quickly replied, "Yes, you can do that if you want. I don’t like how you're acting." I told them I don’t owe anything and hung up straight away. Really don’t appreciate these calls. Please block this number, seems like a scam to me.

For the past couple of days, I've been getting calls from this number, but unfortunately, I couldn't pick up since I was tied up with other commitments. When I attempted to return the call, it wouldn't connect at all. Today, the same number rang again, and a chap named Erik with a noticeable foreign accent addressed me by my full name. He claimed to be contacting me on behalf of a citizen advisory service from some borough, insinuating that I was in debt and questioned me if I was aware of it. I was taken aback and informed him that I had no clue about any such debt, and then he simply cut off the call. In hindsight, I ought to have realised it was likely a scam, especially given the failed attempts to reach them back.

I could hear loads of noise in the background, sounded like some place in Asia. The guy said he was ringing from a “credit investigations centre.” Definitely feels like a dodgy scam trying to nab your personal info.

Got calls 3 times over the past couple days, and every time no one talks on the other end. I told the guy to take my details off because, honestly, Citizens Advice Bureau doesn’t just ring up out of the blue. Then he called again and I kept telling him to delete my info. A chap rang me up, claiming he was checking if I was the account holder. For safety’s sake, I replied in the negative. I quizzed him on his identity, and he stated he was from the government department that handles credit checks. At once, I knew he was up to no good and told him to cut it out with the nonsense. He insisted he was legitimate, but if he were genuinely representing a government body, he wouldn’t be using a mobile phone-he’d be calling from a private line that showed up as ‘unknown.’ He had an Indian accent, which, without being offensive, tends to fit the stereotype of a scammer quite well, doesn’t it? I got rather fed up and told him to sod off, and he responded in a rather nasty manner, saying I was wasting his time, which honestly made me chuckle! Soon after, he hung up. I’ll be blocking this number for good, and I truly hope the authorities can track these blokes down and deal with them appropriately.

I got in touch with O2 after loads of calls from this number and ended up having my pay as you go SIM blocked. Now they’re just gonna have to sort out a new one and waste their own time. Just a heads up, if you’re getting annoyed by calls from a certain number and can figure out the provider, ring their fraud team and let them know. They’ve got a responsibility to help because if you go straight to the police, it takes ages to get anything done. Better to stop these calls quick so nobody else has to put up with it.

He answered, "Your boyfriend!" I told him straight, "I don't have one, I'm gay." Then he said, "No, you're a lovely girl, you want to meet up." I just said "No" and hung up right away. Before I could block the number, he called again. Obviously a scam, and honestly, some creeps behind it too! I managed to block him eventually, but just watch out for this kind of rubbish.
