This number kept ringing me and since it was a mobile, I finally picked up. They claimed to be from CAB, I said I’d rather chat in person and asked about booking an appointment. He said sure, get in touch with CAB. I then asked where my closest office is. He said Manchester. I’m based in South East England. I told him that’s not right and asked for info. He then spoke to someone in an Asian language and told me to just google it. I told them to block my number and never phone me again!

Got a call on my mobile from someone saying they were George Williams (sounds Indian to me) and claimed to be from the Credit Reference Department. They started with my name (how do they even know that?) and asked if it was alright to chat. I just said no and ended the call - number’s blocked now.

This bloke ringed me about sorting out my debts, I told him I wasn’t up for it and reckoned he’d hung up, so I had a giggle and dropped the call. Next thing, he rings back and calls me an idiot for laughing, saying he’d teach me a lesson. I asked if he was threatening me, and he said no but that I’d find out soon enough what he’d do... honestly, what a total knobhead! I just laughed even more till he finally hung up... what a prat.

On Tuesday the 22nd of August 2017, at about 9:58 in the morning, I got a call from 0759 680 6253 which ended up going to my voicemail. Since it’s a mobile number, I might have rang back if I didn’t know better. But nowadays, I always look up any unknown number online first. Luckily, sites like this help me spot dodgy callers before I get caught out. Cheers for the heads-up, much appreciated!

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be from citizens advice, said I had an overdue credit card bill and that my house was due for a visit. He knew my name and address which freaked me out. Best one I've had in a while, said some really nasty stuff, told me I was doomed and even included my family. Then threatened to come after me tonight, saying he'd ruin me so badly I'd wish I'd never been born, plus a load more horrible stuff. I told him I hope his boss hears this and he gets sacked. He reckoned his manager was right there behind him the whole time: haha, sounds like they deserve each other, doubt either of them will land a job anywhere else.
