Called me yesterday and surprisingly they already knew my name and asked if I’d been vaccinated. At first I thought it was legit since I actually had the jab, but then they suddenly switched to asking about life insurance. Pretty sure it’s a scam now.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from the NHS wanting to check if I’d had the jab. I asked why they needed me to say anything, and they just went over the same question again about whether I’d had both doses. When I told them I wasn’t happy since I couldn’t verify they were with the NHS or why they were calling, the bloke just ended the call. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

Some bloke from India rang me up asking for my bank info before telling me what it was about! Proper idiot. It’s a classic scam, don’t fall for it. Never hand over your bank details, even if the caller claims to be your own bank. I work at a bank myself, and we don’t ask for that kind of stuff on calls. Just block the number straight away. No legitimate company will ask for your banking info on a phone call, no matter what!

Just like others have mentioned, this bloke claimed to be from the NHS. I wasn’t having it though and called him out straight away, saying it was another dodgy insurance scam (this is the second time I’ve had one of these calls). I told him I’d be reporting the whole thing. It’s awful behaviour, pretending to be the NHS and asking about vaccines when really they’re trying to peddle insurance. I’m sure some poor, vulnerable folks have fallen for this rubbish.

I got a call from a bloke claiming he was ringing from the NHS to check if I’d experienced any bad reactions after my covid jab. I asked him how I could be certain he was genuinely from the NHS. He said he was calling from the NHS around my local area and even named the exact town where I live. Then I requested a proper official number to verify his identity, but as soon as I did, he just ended the call.

Got a call from this number just now, said they were from the NHS, asking about my experience with the covid vaccine and if I’d had any allergic reactions. I told them I did. They asked what kind of reactions I got and if I’d taken paracetamol or ibuprofen afterwards. Then they wanted to know if my family had been vaccinated and if they’d had any issues. I said they hadn’t. Next, they asked if me or my family had any life insurance. When I said no, they asked again. After I repeated no, the call ended abruptly. Sounds like a total scam to me.
