07553 562578 This has all the signs of a scam. Someone called saying they were from the tax office, warning me about a supposed unopened letter and threatening legal action. They told me to press 1 to talk to an agent. I ignored it - the tax office would never get in touch like that. Best not to ring them back or press any buttons if you get a call from this number.

Someone rang me about the vaccine and I didn’t even let them get a word in. I called them out for being a right dodgy bloke and told them to sling their hook. I then sent their number off to 7726 for Action Fraud.

Got a call from a bloke called Micheal claiming to be from the "NHS" on Wednesday. He kept asking about any side effects from the vaccine - if my arm was sore, how many people live with me, if they’d had the jab or felt unwell after it. I kept saying "no" to all his questions, but he didn’t seem happy with my answers. At one point, he told me that "No" wasn’t a proper reply to how many people live here. Then he said something about life insurance, asking if I had any; I said yes, but reminded him I had both my jabs despite saying no earlier. After that, he just hung up. It does worry me a bit knowing people who trust the NHS name might just hand over info like that without questioning it, especially if they’re more vulnerable.

Over the last few days, I've had repeated calls from a bloke who said he was with the NHS, but I'm pretty sure he’s part of some scam ring pretending to be from a mobile company called FoneCity - or at least that’s one of the fake names they toss around. They seem to switch the company names a lot. After getting these calls nonstop for about three days, I’ve gone ahead and reported them to Action Fraud.

They actually had my name and started off by asking if I’d had the vaccine and whether I’d experienced any side effects. Then out of the blue, they wanted to know if I was up for a quick survey about life insurance. I told them I wasn’t interested in any insurance at all. They insisted it wasn’t a sales call and was just a survey. I found it all a bit suspicious, especially hearing a so-called NHS caller trying to push life insurance. It all seemed like a scam, so I ended the call. The phone kept ringing before I finally picked up, but I’ve since blocked the number.

Only then did it hit me this might’ve been a scam, especially when he started probing into my insurance details.
