Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent earlier, she wanted to talk to me. I replied and she started asking how I’d been since my holiday, like a follow-up call or something. I told her I’d only had one so far and was waiting on the second, which I do have an appointment for. Then she asked if others in the house had gotten theirs and how everyone was feeling. Suddenly she switched and asked if I’ve got any health or life insurance. That’s when I just ended the call. Feels like a dodgy scam to me!

Got a call from a guy who said he was with the NHS, he was an Asian bloke and even used my name. He asked about how Covid had affected my family, if at all. Then he moved on to other health worries I might have, like personal issues I was concerned about. He also wondered if I had any ideas on how the NHS could do better, and offhand asked if I had private health insurance. I told him no to that, and then the conversation just stopped. Was expecting some sort of trick but nothing came of it. I've blocked the number now just in case.

Somebody rang me pretending to be from the NHS, asked all sorts about me and my family’s health, then went on about whether I had any NHS complaints and if I’d got life insurance or other cover. I’m rubbish at being rude, so I just let them talk, thinking they’d try to push some insurance deal on me, but then they just hung up. Kinda hoping I don’t get bombarded with calls selling insurance now. Anyone knows if just staying on the call like that could cause any problems?

Got a call from +44 7553 761 625 earlier today, a lady on the phone claimed she was ringing on behalf of the NHS. She actually knew my name and said they wanted to update my records, which made me a bit wary. I’d just installed the NHS Covid-19 App on my phone the night before, so it seemed odd. The call quality was awful and cut off suddenly. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
