I got charged £5 too, but I never sent any text to that number 00447537410217, nothing shows up in my sent messages. When I rang customer service, they told me the message was definitely sent from my phone, but that's not true. Could this be some kind of glitch?

Mon fournisseur m'a débité pour un grand nombre de messages texte que j'aurais apparemment envoyés vers le Royaume-Uni, avec des numéros comme 0044753741 0287-0267-0247-0277-0227-0297-0207-0217-0237-0257, ce qui semblerait être des contacts FaceTime ou iTelephone. J'ai contacté mon opérateur pour qu'il empêche ce genre de SMS, mais ils m'ont répondu qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire pour ceux qui ont déjà été facturés. Franchement, c'est vraiment embêtant.

I had the same issue, my network provider ended up billing me for 12 texts sent to this number without me realising.

Ce service ne m'a pas du tout convaincu, leur numéro change tout le temps. La seule manière de s'en débarrasser, c'est vraiment d'appeler son opérateur parce que c'est enregistré comme un numéro spécial. Même en bloquant sur mon iPhone, ils réussissent quand même à passer vu qu'ils changent régulièrement. Voilà, bonne soirée à tous !

hello, according to PROXIMUS, back in july 2015 and also on 25th october 2015 at 13:44 my mobile sent a text to this number even though I don't know anyone with this contact and have no links to scotland or england.... i noticed from earlier comments i’m not the only one dealing with this kind of issue....can anyone shed some light on why this happens please???? back in july it was number 00447537410267, not 217 though!!!
